I'm a Canadian writer living in Dublin, Ireland. My first novel, Cinnamon Toast and the End of the World, was published by Hachette Ireland in March 2013, and is now available all over Canada (and world-wide through the magical internet). Cinnamon Toast was one of the 2012 winners of the Irish Writers' Centre's inaugural Novel Fair contest and was nominated for two Canadian literary awards in 2014. It also was a top ten choice for the American Library Association's Rainbow List (2015). The book tells the story of a small town kid coming of age in the late 1980's against the backdrop of the beautiful Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. You'll find more information about it on this site.
You'll also find links to educational materials I've written for ESL/EFL learners, short fiction, details of current projects, the story of my life, a whole lot of 80s songs, and more. At any rate, it should please my mother.
While you're here, you can check out my blog, and please feel free to comment or drop me an email. Even if you're just selling Viagra.
